Robert Rothmund has over four decades of experience in the aviation and logistics sectors. Currently serving as Airport Manager at Zurich Flughafen AG since March 2009, Rothmund oversees airport authority operations. Prior to this role, Rothmund spent a decade at Swissport in various capacities such as Loadmaster, Loadcontroller, and Duty Manager, focusing on load control, weight, and balance, as well as ramp service and aircraft loading. Additionally, Rothmund has held the position of Duty Manager at Swissair Cargo from December 1983 to March 1999 and has earlier experience as a Verkaufsberater at Radio Iseli AG and as a Werkzeugmacher Lehrling at Gaspar Formenbau AG.
