Shayne Larsen, Ph.D., currently serves as the Global Director of Training and Certification at FLSmidth since January 2023. With a robust background in instructional design and training, Shayne has held multiple roles at Control4/SnapAV since November 2015, advancing from Instructional Designer/Technical Trainer to Senior Manager of the Snap One Education Instructor Team. Previous experience includes serving as a Training Specialist at School Improvement Network, focusing on professional learning practices for educators, and directing educational programs at Synergy Youth Treatment. Shayne's extensive teaching background includes several years as an instructor and principal for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' Seminaries and Institutes of Religion. Academically, Shayne holds a Ph.D. in Teacher Education and Professional Development, a Master's degree in Secondary Education, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, all from Utah State University.
