Brian Ottar Olsen's work experience includes a range of roles in various companies. In 1994, they worked as a Product Developer at Danfoss before becoming the Manager of Research and Technology in the Comfort Controls Division. From 2003 to 2004, they served as a Strategic Application Manager at Delta. At Sonion, they held the position of Head of Development, overseeing product and process development. At ReSound, they were the Vice President of the Project Management Office and later became the Director of Product Development Projects. Brian Ottar served as the R&D Vice President of Systems Engineering and Project Management Office at GN Hearing A/S. In 2018, they became a Board Member at Winther Mould Technology A/S and the Vice President of Technology at Blue Ocean Robotics. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder at Flow Loop.
Brian Ottar Olsen obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Sales and Marketing from Aarhus Business College from 1995 to 2003. Brian Ottar then pursued a Master of Science degree in Fluid Dynamics from DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 1989 to 1994. Following this, Brian earned a Ph.D. in Acoustics from the University of Southampton from 1997 to 2000. In 2014, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Additionally, Brian earned another PMP certification from the same institution in August 2011.
