Stephen Lin started their work experience in 2000 as a Project Mechanical Engineer at Li Tech Assurance Co., Ltd. Stephen worked in this role from June 2000 to December 2000. In 2001, they joined Flow International as a Regional Sales Manager and their tenure in this role is ongoing.

Stephen Lin obtained a Master of Engineering - MEng degree in Environmental Science from the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education. Stephen completed this program between 1998 and 1999.
