Amirhessam Tahmassebi is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in various roles across prominent organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist for Algorithms at Rivian since September 2021, Amirhessam is focused on integrating machine learning and data science within manufacturing processes. As the Founder of SlickML since August 2020, Amirhessam is also engaged in entrepreneurial efforts. Additionally, Amirhessam holds positions as an Adjunct Professor and Courtesy Faculty at Florida State University where teaching responsibilities include Data Mining and Analytics. Previous experience includes significant contributions as a Senior Data Scientist at ExxonMobil and roles at Cerner Corporation and Mynomx Inc. Academically, Amirhessam has earned a PhD and MSc in Computational Science from Florida State University and an MSc in Physics from The University of Akron, complemented by a BSc in Physics from the University of Tehran.
