Laura Osgood has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Teacher at Pasco County Schools. Laura then moved on to SCHOOL BOARD OF ALACHUA COUNTY in 1999, where they continued their role as a Teacher. In 2002, Laura joined Lee County School District as a Teacher and later took up the position of a Technology Specialist. From 2014 to 2018, they served as an Assistant Principal at the same district. In 2018, Laura joined Florida SouthWestern State College as a Program Assessment Coordinator. Laura then held the position of Director, Exploratory Institutional Research and finally became the Director, Learning Technologies in March 2022.

From 2012 to 2014, Laura attended Nova Southeastern University and obtained an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership.
From 2003 to 2005, Laura also attended Nova Southeastern University and earned a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology.
In 1998, Laura completed their Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching at the University of South Florida.
Prior to that, from 1995 to 1997, Laura attended the University of Florida and acquired an Associate of Arts - AA degree.
