Jared Weiner, MD, MBA, FASA, serves as the President Elect for the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists and holds multiple roles within the organization, including Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Assistant Treasurer since June 2017. As a Physician Partner at US Anesthesia Partners since September 2006, Jared is also actively involved in the Legislative Affairs Committee. Additionally, involvement with the American Society of Anesthesiologists® includes serving as a Delegate and Alternate Delegate to the House of Delegates. Jared has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists since June 2016. Previously, Jared directed the Division of Cardiothoracic Transplant Anesthesiology at AdventHealth Orlando from 2009 until December 2019. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, a General Surgery Residency at Baylor University Medical Center, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Microbiology from the University of Florida.
