Sean Helton joined FPL in 2021 as a senior communication specialist for PoweringFlorida. He brings nearly 20 years of marketing and development experience to the team, most recently serving as the vice president of marketing for Enterprise Florida, Inc., the stateā€™s principal economic development organization. While there, he led the organizationā€™s efforts to market Florida as a business state through its award-winning ā€œFlorida ā€“ The Future is Hereā€ campaign. Prior to his role at Enterprise Florida, Sean worked for the University of Central Florida, the Lockheed Martin Corporation and Walt Disney Imagineering, holding positions in marketing, development and media relations.

He serves as vice-chair on the UCF Nicholson School of Communication and Mediaā€™s alumni board and is its mentorship program chair. He is also a volunteer with Give Kids the World.
