Baldwyn English is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in law and external affairs. Currently serving as the External Affairs Manager at Florida Power & Light Company since March 2018, Baldwyn is responsible for cultivating relationships with local government, businesses, and community leaders while addressing complex challenges for stakeholders. Previously, Baldwyn worked as Chief Advisor to Commissioner Ronald A. Brisé at the Florida Public Service Commission from November 2010 to March 2018, where analysis and interpretation of legal issues were paramount. Baldwyn also founded The English Law Firm, focusing on civil litigation and various legal services, and served as a litigation associate at Andrews Kurth, LLP, managing complex tort and contractual matters. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law degree from Texas Southern University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Florida International University.
