Albert Saltiel

Founder & President at Florida Pediatric Associates

Albert Saltiel, M.D. has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Albert co-founded and served as the President of Florida Pediatric Associates (FPA), a multi-specialty pediatric practice with locations in Jacksonville, Orlando, St. Petersburg, and Tampa. At FPA, they delivered a wide range of clinical services to over 200,000 children in Florida. Dr. Saltiel also held the position of President at FPA Real Estate, a subsidiary of Florida Pediatric Associates.

In addition, Dr. Saltiel founded and served as the President of Pediatric Services of Florida, Inc., an independent practice association consisting of over sixty pediatric primary and specialty care practices with over 300 practitioners.

Dr. Saltiel's experience extends beyond pediatrics. Albert worked as an Advisory Board Member at The Doctors Company, a medical malpractice insurance provider. Albert also served as the Program Director for Pediatric Inpatient Services at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital.

Furthermore, Dr. Saltiel engaged in various leadership roles at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, including Chair of the Bylaws Committee, Chair of the Medical Care Evaluation Committee, Chief of Staff, and Program Director of Pediatric Critical Care. Albert was also involved in the Standards and Credentials Committee and the Medical Executive Committee at the hospital.

Dr. Saltiel's other roles include being the President of Sisyphus Holdings, LLC, a private holding company, President of Strategic Protection Group, LTD, and President of Paradise Wine Country, LLC.

In their career, Dr. Saltiel has demonstrated a commitment to improving patient safety and quality, as evidenced by their involvement in the Children's Patient Safety and Quality Council at Florida Hospital.

Albert Saltiel, M.D. completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Neurobiology and Behavior at Tufts University. Albert then attended Tulane University School of Medicine, where they earned their MD. Following that, they pursued a Pediatric Residency at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, with a focus on Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. Finally, they completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine.
