Johnnie E. Young is an experienced education professional and entrepreneur with a diverse background in teaching, curriculum development, and music. At Florida Memorial University, Johnnie Young serves as the Director of the Teacher Certification Project. Previously, Johnnie Young was the CEO of J.E.Y. Music from 2005 to 2016. A significant portion of Johnnie Young's career was spent at Miami-Dade County Public Schools from 1979 to 2013, where various roles included Curriculum Support Specialist - Writing, Substitute Teacher, Teacher, Magnet Lead Teacher, and Writing Coach. Additionally, Johnnie Young worked at UPS from 1979 to 1998 in various customer service roles.
