Joseph Lowry is a Biological Scientist IV at the Florida Department of Health, serving as a Florida Birth Defects Registry Epidemiologist. Previously, Joseph worked as an intern at the National Cancer Institute, collaborating on a validation study of self-reported prostate cancer recurrence. Joseph also has experience as a Graduate Assistant at Georgia Southern University, where Joseph evaluated and made recommendations for improvement to the nursing recruitment program and collected data for analysis. Joseph holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology from Georgia Southern University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University.
