Ethan Johnson, DrPH, MPH, currently serves as the Administrator and Health Officer for the Florida Department of Health in Seminole County since August 2023. Prior to this role, Ethan held various positions at the Florida Department of Health in Volusia County from September 2014 to August 2023, including Assistant County Health Department Director and Director of Performance Management, Community Health Improvement, and Communications. Additionally, Ethan has experience as an Adjunct Professor at Bethune-Cookman University and has held research and evaluation roles at Georgia State University, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and AmeriCorps. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Public Health from the University of South Florida, a Master of Public Health from Georgia State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida.
