Peterson Michael serves as the Administrator of Information Technology and Director of Enterprise Infrastructure at Florida Health Care Plans since October 2017, overseeing the Technical Services Team and managing infrastructure projects. Previously, Peterson held the role of Chief Information Officer for University Health Services at Florida State University from February 2000 to October 2017, where responsibilities included managing technical support, networking, system security, and strategic IT planning. Peterson's career began in the United States Air Force as a Health Care Analyst in Information Technology, designing hospital intranet systems and managing help desk support. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Park University.
