Chanel LeBlanc, M.S., currently serves as the Public Health Communications Manager for the Florida Department of Health in Duval County since April 2023, where responsibilities include managing the Communications Department, enhancing community relations, and developing public health messaging. Prior to this role, Chanel worked as a Television Producer at TEGNA from February 2014 to April 2023, where management of staff and content for broadcast was essential. Previous experience includes roles as Communications/Outreach Coordinator for the City of Jacksonville and News Producer at WJXT-TV Channel 4 News, highlighting a diverse background in public health communications and media production. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and a Master's degree in Communication Management from the University of North Florida.
