Kathy Syfrett, FCCM, currently serves as Executive Assistant II in the Division of Workforce Services at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity since May 2023. Previous roles include Executive Assistant II at the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation and Office Manager in the General Counsel’s Office at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity. Kathy has extensive experience in legal support roles, having worked as a Legal Administrative Assistant III and I in various capacities within the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Kathy's professional background also includes property management and independent consulting. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Management from Florida State College at Jacksonville, along with certifications and degrees in Paralegal Studies from Keiser College and Tallahassee Community College.
