Edward Velez brings extensive experience in facilities management and administration, currently serving as Supervisor for the Facilities Admin Office and Budget at Polk County School Board since September 2022. Prior to this role, Edward worked at the Central Florida Transportation Authority (LYNX) for over 14 years as Property Officer and Manager. Edward also held the position of Process and Facilities Analyst at Astellas Pharma US from March 2003 to December 2006, and began a career in materials control as an intern at National Grid from September 2001 to March 2003. Edward earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology with a focus on Facilities Management from Farmingdale State College and completed high school education at Northport Senior High School.
