Rachel Wellman, Ph.D., is a Program Coordinator at Florida Atlantic University, leading the Climate READY Program focused on climate resilience education and action for youth. With extensive experience in curriculum development and teaching, Rachel has held roles including Co-PI and co-developer of the Climate READY Program and has taught various environmental and science courses at the high school level. Prior positions include coordinating STEM education at an award-winning elementary school and serving as a laboratory instructor during their doctoral studies at Texas A&M University. Rachel holds a Ph.D. in Ecosystem Science and Management and has a strong background in environmental education, community engagement, and grant writing.
