Joe Haws has extensive experience in project management and engineering roles across various companies. Joe currently holds the position of Executive Project Manager at FLOORZ since February 2023.

Prior to this, Joe worked at Douglas County School District as a Project Manager from March 2022 to February 2023. In this role, they oversaw multiple capital improvement projects, managed scheduling and budgeting, and conducted risk assessments. Joe also led a $4MM project to build an alternate education high school, providing value engineering and reducing the budget. Joe successfully optimized resources for a Middle School track resurfacing project, reducing repair costs and waste.

Before joining Douglas County School District, Joe worked at Symmetry as a Loan Coordinator from February 2021 to March 2022.

Joe had a significant tenure at JE Dunn Construction, where they held the position of Senior Project Engineer from August 2016 to January 2021. In this role, they led a project with a $33MM scope of work, providing pricing for RFIs and managing change. Joe also monitored performance goals for Project Engineers and achieved a 95% KPI rating.

Prior to JE Dunn Construction, Joe worked at HENSEL PHELPS as an Office Engineer from November 2015 to July 2016 and as a Field Engineer from June 2014 to November 2015.

Joe began their career as a Field Engineer Intern at Kiewit, where they gained experience in daily field engineer tasks and contributed to crew support and safety. Joe had two internships with Kiewit, one in 2013 and another in 2012.

Joe Haws attended Kansas State University from 2008 to 2014 where they obtained a Bachelor of Construction Science and Management degree with a specialization in Construction Management. In addition, they have acquired a certification in Google Project Management through Coursera in December 2021.
