Lorayne Liebel, LL.M. has a diverse background in legal compliance and information technology law. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at Pridatect since June 2020, Lorayne previously held the position of Legal Compliance Officer at Veta Health, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with laws and regulations related to Personal Identifiable Information and implementing security controls aligned with HIPAA, SOC 2, and ISO/IEC 27001:2013. Additional experience includes working as a Legal Associate at RMW&C Mietzel Wohlnick & Calheiros Partnerschaft mbB and as a Temporary Contract & Compliance Assistant at Hannover Re. Lorayne’s educational qualifications include a Master of Laws in Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law from Leibniz Universität Hannover, an Advanced Master of Laws in Information Communication & Technology Law and Intellectual Property Law from KU Leuven, and various specializations and extensions in IT law and data protection from institutions in Brazil and Europe.
