Olivier Simard is a highly experienced data scientist with a diverse background in machine learning, quantitative analysis, and high-performance computing across various industries, including energy, finance, and telecommunications. Currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist at FLO EV Charging since December 2021, Olivier previously held positions as a Quantitative Analyst at MAG Energy Solutions, a Machine Learning Engineer at CAE, and a Data/AI Scientist at National Bank of Canada. Early career roles included Senior Software Engineer at Ciena and Senior Consultant at ANEO. Olivier's research background includes significant contributions at CNRS and CERN, particularly within the ATLAS Liquid Argon Calorimeter project at the Large Hadron Collider. Academically, Olivier holds a PhD and MSc in Physics from Carleton University, complemented by a BSc from Université Laval.
