Leslie A Acevedo has extensive experience in library operations, serving as the Retired Director of Library Operations at Gloria Coles Flint Public Library since 2003, where responsibilities included oversight of professional and public service support staff, collection development, and public programs. Previously, Leslie Acevedo was the Manager of Public Service at Flint Public Library, coordinating and developing programs, collections, and services. Prior to that, Leslie Acevedo held the positions of Manager of Adult and Teen Services, Young Adult Programs and Services, and Bookmobile Librarian at Flint Public Library from June 1993 to 2003. Leslie A Acevedo earned a Master of Information and Library Studies from the University of Michigan in 1993 and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Literature from the same institution in 1991.
