Kelly Maxwell is a Senior Manager at Flinders University since September 2019, specializing in Indigenous Higher Education strategies, including governance mechanisms and quality assurance. As the Founder and Owner of Mura Nexus, established in August 2022, Kelly leads a Female, First Nations owned business providing SMART Board Interactive Displays® and developing Indigenous content for young Indigenous students. Previously, Kelly served as the Manager of Indigenous Employment and Engagement at the University of Adelaide, where significant contributions included authoring the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment Strategy. Additional experience includes roles as an Employment Consultant at the Department of Further Education, Employment, Science and Technology, and an HR Consultant at Telstra. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Organisational Development from the University of New England, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Adelaide, and a Graduate Certificate in HR Management from the University of South Australia.
