Dhani Dharmaprani

Adjunct Academic at Flinders University

Dhani Dharmaprani is a Future Making Fellow at both the University of Adelaide and the Australian Institute for Machine Learning, as well as an Adjunct Academic at Flinders University, all positions held since January and March 2024, respectively. Previously, Dhani served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Casual Academic at Flinders University from July 2016 to January 2024, focusing on enhancing students' professional skills and maintaining educational resources. Dhani earned a PhD in Medicine and Engineering from Flinders University, where involvement included a Postdoctoral Research Associate role in Cardiology and receiving the Tom Simpson Trust Fund Award from The National Heart Foundation of Australia in 2020. From June 2015 to March 2017, leadership was demonstrated as President of the Engineers Without Borders Flinders Humanitarian Society, overseeing organizational management and outreach programs. Academic achievements are complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering (Biomedical) (Honours) obtained from Flinders University in 2016.
