Simon O'Connell has a diverse work experience in the travel and technology industries. Simon started their career at Rainbow Pacific (Australasia) in 2004, where they held roles such as Account Manager, Systems Administrator, and Information Technology Manager. Simon then joined Flight Centre Travel Group, The Americas in 2010 and has since progressed through various positions, including Service Desk Technician, Service Desk Assistant Lead, Service Desk Team Lead, Director of IT Customer Service and Procurement, and currently holds the position of Director of Service Delivery.
Simon O'Connell obtained a degree in Business with a specialization in Management from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) between the years 1999 and 2004. Additionally, during the same time period, they also earned a degree in Information Technology, focusing on Information Management Systems, from the same institution.
