Paul Marer has been working in the field of international business since 1975. Paul began their career as a Professor of International Business at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, where they taught undergraduate, MBA and Ph.D. courses, wrote or edited 20 books and more than 100 articles and chapters, and served several terms as chair of the IB Department. In 1995, they began taking on visiting faculty appointments at business schools around the world, ranging from intensive short courses to semester-long appointments. From 2000 to 2013, they were a Professor of Business and Associate Dean for Academics at Central European University Business School, and Coordinator of Academic Outreach for 10 years. In 2016, they became the Director of Global Strategy at ALEAS Simulations, Inc. Since 2017, they have been working as a freelance author and guest professor, writing a book combining short autobiographic stories and matching historical essays.
Paul Marer attended The Wharton School from 1961 to 1968, where they earned a MA and Ph.D. in International Economics and Business.
