Jingfan (Oliver) Wang, Ph.D. has a wealth of experience in the fields of business, research, and technology. Jingfan (Oliver) started their career in 2014 as the Co-Founder and President of the Energy Innovation Network and a Stanford Interdisciplinary Graduate Fellow and Teaching Assistant at Stanford University. In 2016, they interned at System Engineering of Tesla Energy at Tesla Motors. In 2017, they were Co President at the Chinese Entrepreneur Organization. In 2018, they were a Research Intern at ExxonMobil Upstream Research Company and a Consultant at ENN Digital Energy Technology Co., Ltd. In 2019, they were the Executive Director at HYSTA (Hua Yuan Science and Technology Association) and a Global Shapers Community Member at the World Economic Forum. In 2020, they were the Business Lead of Innovation and Research and Lead of US Business Development at Flexiv Ltd. and in 2023, they became a GGV Fellows at GGV Capital.
Jingfan (Oliver) Wang, Ph.D. began their education in 2002 at Tianjin No.1 Middle School. Jingfan (Oliver) then attended Zhejiang University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law. Jingfan (Oliver) continued their studies at the University of California, Berkeley from 2012 to 2013, receiving a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2014, they returned to Stanford University, where they earned a Master's Degree in Atmosphere and Energy in 2016. Jingfan (Oliver) then stayed at Stanford to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law, which they completed in 2019. In 2020, they completed a Stanford Ignite Certificate Program in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
