Laura Guerrero serves as the Director of Operations at Flemingdon Health Centre since October 2023 and is a Life and Health Insurance Advisor at Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network since March 2022. Additionally, Laura co-founded the Latin American COVID task force in August 2020, focusing on enhancing vaccine uptake and advocating for better health service access for Latin American communities in Ontario. Previously, Laura held the position of Chief Executive Officer at WellFort Community Health Services from 2016 to 2022, where leadership and strategic goal achievement were key responsibilities. Laura has extensive experience in various roles, including program coordination and mental health promotion, as well as a background in journalism and communication with degrees from the University of Toronto and Escuela Nacional de Periodismo in Uruguay.
