Carolin Westphal has a diverse work experience in the public relations and communications field. Carolin began their career as a Volontärin Redaktion und Community Management at mh bayern GmbH & Co. KG in 2010. Carolin then worked at FleishmanHillard Germany GmbH from 2011 to 2013, starting as an Assistant Account Executive and eventually transitioning to the role of Account Executive. In 2013, they joined Weber Shandwick as an Account Manager. In 2014, Carolin returned to FleishmanHillard Germany GmbH where they held various roles, including Senior Account Executive and Account Supervisor/Senior PR Consultant. Their most recent role at the company was Vice President/Head of Munich Office, which they held since August 2019.

Carolin Westphal obtained their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Sociology, Psychology, and Education from the University of Augsburg. Carolin pursued their studies from 2004 to 2009.
