Alejandro Oropeza is the Co-Founder and CEO of flavrs, a social media marketing company. Prior to their current role, Oropeza served as the Global Head of Marketing for Creators at YouTube from November 2016 to July 2020. In this role, they launched products to millions of Creators in over 70 languages and advised the CEO and CBO on Creator Strategy and Communications. Oropeza also served as Sr. Industry Manager for Telco EMEA at Google from December 2011 to November 2016, where they were responsible for Performance (E-Commerce, Analytics, Programmatic, Multichannel Attribution) and Brand (Advertising, Measurement, Content Creation). Oropeza began their career as a Sr. Product Manager for Oral Care at Procter & Gamble from July 2007 to November 2011.
Alejandro Oropeza has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Universidad Iberoamericana in Ciudad de México. Alejandro also has Diplomas in Culinary Arts and Pâtisserie from Ecole Ritz Escoffier and Le Cordon Bleu North America, respectively. In addition, they have a degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Harvard Business School. Finally, they are an Attendee of Menus of Change - 1st Annual Leadership Summit at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
