Luyang Hu is a current Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, specifically working with the SLED lab since April 2023. Simultaneously, Luyang serves as a Student Machine Learning Engineer at Flash, leading a Visual Sentiment sub-team and developing sentiment classification models using CNN with transfer learning. Prior experience includes a summer internship at ByteDance, where Luyang built an access control module in C++ and enhanced desktop-web connectivity, and another internship at ZTE Corporation, focusing on improving search engine efficiency and inventory tools. Luyang is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, and a minor in Linguistics at the University of Michigan, set to graduate in May 2024.
