Phineas Kgwahlankele Mphahlele is an experienced Instrument Technician Supervisor currently at GOLD FIELDS since July 2023. With a career spanning over 17 years, Phineas has previously served as a Senior Instrument Technician at Northam Platinum, where responsibilities included developing maintenance schedules, coordinating inspections and maintenance of control systems, and ensuring safety compliance. Phineas began the career as a Junior Technician at Columbus Stainless and held positions at Nampak, Aveng Manufacturing Automation & Control Solutions, and ArcelorMittal South Africa, where expertise in instrumentation and electrical systems was demonstrated. Educational qualifications include a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Tshwane University of Technology, a Certificate in Safety Management from the University of South Africa, and a Certificate in Management Development from Stellenbosch Business School.
