Liz Downer is currently a Manager at Flagel Huber Flagel. Liz has also worked as a Career Coach at The Office of Career Management and as an International Tax Senior Associate at PwC.

Liz has provided individual consultation to undergraduate business students for resume and cover letter critiques, interviewing and job search skills, and other career resources during weekly walk in hours. In their role at PwC, Liz led consulting and compliance projects for multinational corporations, primarily within the healthcare and manufacturing industries. Liz has also been nominated by partners to be member of Tax Staff Advisory Council that reports directly to US national tax leader.

Liz has a proven track record of leading teams and executing responsibilities effectively. In their previous role at PwC, Liz oversaw an associate and an intern in the design and implementation of remodeling an existing Mexican Maquila structure, including exposure to transfer pricing and value chain transformation issues. Liz also managed an associate and an intern in determining the tax basis of 21 controlled foreign corporations and a foreign partnership to determine the tax effect of the transfer of various assets within the company.

Liz is an experienced manager with a strong background in international tax compliance. In their previous role at PwC, Liz directed a team of 2 associates and an intern to review 60 entitiesā€™ US international tax compliance, including Forms 5471, Forms 8858, and required statements due to reorganizations and intercompany transactions. Liz also led 2 associates in restating the international tax provision as part of a multi-year financial restatement.

Liz Downer has a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Business Administration from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Liz is also certified from the State of Ohio in CPA.
