Niels Backmann Andersen possesses extensive experience in electrical safety, CE marking, and technical legislation related to electrical installations and machinery, demonstrating a strong background in the energy sector. Currently employed at Fjernvarme Fyn A/S since April 2015, Niels focuses on electrical safety and compliance, alongside responsibilities in the procurement of norms and standards. Prior to this role, Niels worked at Vattenfall A/S, where similar responsibilities were conducted for power plants from July 2006 to March 2015. Niels' career began at Elsam A/S, covering a wide range of projects including electrical safety investigations, planning and commissioning for power plants and wind farms, CE marking guidelines, and management of complex projects in the oil and gas industry. Niels holds a B.Sc. in Power Engineering from the University of Southern Denmark, alongside several diplomas in business studies, management, and electrical engineering from Odense Technical College.
