Dom Marmont has been working in the tech industry since 2006. In 2006 they began as a Graduate Engineer at ERA Technology, where they were exposed to a wide range of projects for clients, mainly UK defence contracts. In 2007, they became the Head of Systems Development at MaxCap Partners LLP. In 2010, they were the CTO at Rampart Capital, where they were in charge of the entire tech stack of the business from a custom reporting solution to the Windows Server AD environment/local network. In 2013, they became CTO & Co-founder of FIXR, a UK's fastest-growing student events platform, where they were responsible for the tech stack and team.

Dom Marmont attended Bedales from 1995 to 2002, and then went on to earn an MEng in Information Systems Engineering from the University of Surrey between 2002 and 2006.
