Jared Asch

Software Engineer at Five Rings

Jared Asch is a Software Engineer at Five Rings since August 2023, previously serving as a Teaching Assistant for various courses at the University of Pennsylvania, including CIS 556 (Cryptography), CIS 320 (Algorithms), and CIS 160 (Discrete Mathematics). Jared has also held roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the NetDB@Penn research group, co-authoring the FlexChain paper published in VLDB, and completed a Software Development Internship at Five Rings LLC. Additional experience includes co-directing Hack4Impact and leading projects such as the Princeton Gerrymandering Project, along with a Software Engineering Internship at Lemongrass. Jared holds a Master of Science in Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, both in Computer Science, from the University of Pennsylvania, and is a graduate of Stuyvesant High School.
