Simen Borland has established a solid foundation in finance and investment banking through various roles in reputable companies. Currently serving as an Associate at Five Point Energy since January 2025, Borland previously held positions as an Investment Banking Associate and Investment Banking Analyst at Intrepid Financial Partners from February 2023 to January 2025. Prior experience includes working as a Portfolio Valuation Analyst in the Energy group at Duff & Phelps from July 2022 to February 2023, and a Market Intelligence & Business Analysis Intern at ConocoPhillips in summer 2021. Additional experience includes a Summer Analyst position at Lifestyle Financial Advisors, Inc. and an Operations Intern role at ADS LOGISTICS CO, LLC. Borland holds a Master of Science in Finance from Texas A&M University, completed in 2022, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Distribution from the same institution, earned in 2021, with an educational background that began at St. Thomas High School, where a High School Diploma was obtained in 2017.
