As Project Manager, An leverages her background in environmental policy, research, and communications to support FishWise’s business partnerships. She also works cross-functionally to provide support to FishWise’s Social Responsibility and Traceability divisions. Prior to joining FishWise, An was a Coastal Program Analyst at the California Coastal Commission, working to protect coastal resources and public beach access. Her interests in environmental sustainability and social responsibility were nurtured through her research fellowship with the University of California Carbon Neutrality Initiative, where she identified strategies to increase resilience to future climate impacts for her community. She also serves as the Director of Content and Research at Climate Action LAb, a digital environmental justice platform that aims to inform and empower young people to take local climate action. An holds a Bachelors in Environmental Studies with minors in Spatial Studies and Art & Technology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
