Sarah Bennett

Associate at Fisher & Phillips

Sarah is an associate in the Fisher Phillips’ Irvine and Detroit offices. She represents employers in a variety of employment law matters including discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wage and hour litigation. She also frequently advises clients on implementing and drafting various handbook policies.

Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Sarah interned with a mid-sized national employment and insurance coverage firm representing a wide range of clients. She also interned for the Honorable Raymond J. Ikola for the California Court of Appeal and the Honorable Theodor C. Albert in United States Bankruptcy Court. Prior to attending law school Sarah worked in business development and government contracting for a Woman-Owned Small Business in Denver, Colorado.

During law school at Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law, Sarah served on the boards of all three of the school’s competition teams including holding an executive role on the Alternative Dispute Resolution competition team. She also won the national championship in the American Bar Association’s Representation in Mediation Annual Competition and was recognized on an international stage for her advocacy at the Consensual Dispute Resolution International Mediation Competition in Vienna, Austria. Sarah also served as an academic fellow for the legal writing and research courses provided to first-year law students.
