Christopher Champine defends corporate and business employers against a wide variety of employment-related claims.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips to focus on labor and employment litigation, Christopher practiced as an associate within the Trial Practice Group at an Am Law 100 firm in San Diego, where he defended corporate and higher education clients against tort and contractual claims, wage and hour class actions, sexual harassment, and discrimination claims in state and federal court. Christopher also regularly provided assistance in real estate and land use litigation matters.
While in law school, Christopher was Editor-in-Chief of the San Diego International Law Journal and an Academic Success Fellow in Legal Writing and Property Law, having achieved the highest grade in both classes. Christopher was also inducted into the international legal honor society Phi Delta Phi and served as a judicial extern for Justice Terry O'Rourke of the Fourth District Court of Appeal in San Diego.
Christopher served for more than a decade as Senior Policy Advisor for the San Diego Country Board of Supervisors, advising on issues including redistricting, regional transportation, tribal affairs, airport expansion, and public works policy.
