Dominic Selvaraj has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering and firmware engineering fields since 1997. Dominic began their career as an Engineering Co-Op at Vijaya Hospitals in 1997 and then moved on to an Engineering Intern position at IMATION INC in 1999. In 2000, they took a role as a Firmware Engineer at SMSC INC, where they designed and developed firmware and drivers for USB 2.0 peripheral controllers and USB 9-in-1 Card Readers, and USB ATA/ATAPI controllers. Dominic then moved on to a Senior Firmware Engineer/Technical Manager role at Sigmatel in 2004, where they led a team of firmware engineers in the design and development of the SDK for Audio and Video ICs. In 2008, they took on the role of Software Engineering Manager at Freescale Semiconductor, where they led a team of software engineers in designing and development of Firmware Build and Test automation software. Most recently, in 2010, they became the President and CEO of FirstView Consultants Inc., an Austin, Texas headquartered company with rapid prototyping, system architecture, and software solutions expertise in the automotive market.
Dominic Selvaraj received their MBA from Oklahoma State University in 2000, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General. Dominic also received a BSEE from the University of Madras in 1998, specializing in Electrical Engineering, as well as a B.S.E.E Specialized in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the same university in 1998.
