Paul Stephenson

Vice President, Client Services, Americas at FIRST

Paul Stephenson has extensive experience in client services and account management. Paul started their career at ExCeL London as an Event Executive from August 2004 to October 2005. Paul then joined FIRST as an Account Executive from September 2007 to June 2013, and later became a Senior Account Manager from July 2013 to February 2015. Paul was promoted to Account Director from March 2015 to January 2019, where they focused on retaining and growing global accounts and providing team leadership. Paul then served as Vice President of Client Services in FIRST's London office from January 2019 to January 2020, overseeing client relationships and providing strategic solutions for global event executions. Currently, Paul is Vice President of Client Services in FIRST's New York office, where they lead a team of Account Directors responsible for various clients and industries, including financial services, aerospace, healthcare, and media. Paul has successfully adapted to the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic by transitioning to virtual leadership and expanding FIRST's service offering.

Paul Stephenson attended Torquay Community College from 1994 to 1999. Paul then went on to study at South Devon College from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained an Advanced GNVQ in Hospitality & Catering. In 2001, Paul pursued further education at South Devon College, completing a degree in AVCE Business from 2001 to 2002. Lastly, they attended Leeds Beckett University from 2003 to 2007, earning a BA (Hons) in Event Management within the field of Business.
