Joe Hongxiang Zhao is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in senior analytical roles across various financial institutions. Currently serving as a Senior Financial Analyst at First West Credit Union since August 2018, Joe previously held the same title at HSBC Bank Canada, where responsibilities included delivering changes to accounting and financial reporting procedures for significant projects. As CFO at CCG Capital & Energy Partners Inc., from 2012 to 2017, Joe managed international M&A projects and provided strategic financial analysis. Joe's career began at Bank of Beijing, accumulating experience across multiple roles in credit analysis and project financing. Academically, Joe holds a Master’s degree in Financial Risk Management from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Economics in Finance from Capital University of Economics and Business.
