Joel Mlinar is a seasoned professional in quality management with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as Quality Manager at First Solar since August 2022, Joel's previous roles include Quality Manager at Webasto Group, overseeing quality operations for multiple sunroof designs and managing KPIs for several automotive OEMs. Joel also held the position of Product Quality Manager at GE Appliance & Lighting, ensuring product quality for a large portfolio of lighting SKUs and administering an ISO/TS 16949 certified quality management system. Joel's early career included strategic roles in the naval reserve and internships focusing on environmental initiatives and employee engagement. Joel holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science and an MBA in Organization Development from the University of Michigan, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Physical Oceanography / Meteorology from the United States Naval Academy.
