Edmundo Rivera has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Edmundo started their career at Ford Credit Mexico as a Marketing Analyst, where they developed marketing strategies and sales programs for various automotive brands. Edmundo later became a Marketing Manager, responsible for creating automotive financing programs and maintaining day-to-day operations.
Rivera then transitioned to BBVA Bancomer Mexico, BBVA USA Division, where they held the position of Marketing and Product Manager. Here, they continued to develop and manage marketing initiatives for the bank.
In 2006, Rivera moved to BBVA USA as a Marketing and Product Manager, further expanding their expertise in this area. Edmundo then joined BBVA Compass in 2007, initially as a VP Credit Cards Product Manager, and later as a VP Agent Bank Program Manager in the Consumer Assets Division. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining relationships with 54 agent banks, overseeing program offering, implementation, and management. Edmundo also played a key role in designing and implementing the Agent Bank credit card program, including product design, pricing, marketing strategy, and system platform.
Rivera then joined Santander Bank, N.A. in 2015, where they served as a Card Acquisitions Manager VP and later as a Marketing Cards Product Segment Manager VP. During this time, they focused on marketing cards and managing product segments.
In 2017, Rivera joined First Security Bank as the VP Credit Cards Program Manager, where they currently hold the position.
Edmundo Rivera pursued their education in chronological order, starting with their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México. Edmundo studied at this institution from 1995 to 2000.
Later, from 2000 to 2002, Edmundo attended IPADE Business School, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on MEDE (Masters of Executive Development in Business Administration). Edmundo'sfield of study during this period was Business Administration.
