Brett Johnson is a seasoned law enforcement professional currently serving as a Senior Public Safety Advisor for the First Responder Network Authority since March 2023, focusing on Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Johnson previously held the position of Chief of Police for the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians from July 2020 to March 2023. Prior experience includes extensive service with the City of Medford, Oregon, as Deputy Police Chief and various ranks in law enforcement from August 1995 to February 2019. Johnson's background encompasses military service as a Staff Sergeant in the Oregon Air National Guard and a Military Policeman in the U.S. Army, along with positions in the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Oregon Department of Corrections. Educational achievements include an MBA from Corban University, an Executive Leadership Program at the Naval Postgraduate School, and additional credentials in criminal justice from the University of Virginia and Corban University.
