John Martin has extensive experience in facility maintenance and asset management within the mining sector. Since April 2019, John Martin has served as the Superintendent of Facility Maintenance at First Quantum Minerals, where responsibilities include starting the operational phase of the project, recruiting and training a team under an Asset Management philosophy, and developing preventive maintenance strategies using JD Edwards for Work Order Management. Previously, John Martin worked at Antofagasta Minerals from August 2012 to March 2019, holding the position of Facility Maintenance Superintendent at the Los Pelambres Mine in Chile. In this role, John Martin's team managed contracts with a focus on safety, cost control, and quality for various services, including facilities maintenance and equipment support. John Martin holds a degree in Civil Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Concepción and has educational experience at Armada de Chile.
