Josh Sweere is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in electrical engineering and systems integration. Currently serving as the Director of nuGen Haulage Solution and Director of Zero-Emission Systems at First Mode since March 2018, Josh focuses on innovative solutions for complex organizational challenges. Previous roles include Power System Engineer at Planetary Resources, Inc., where responsibilities included risk management and requirements oversight for deep space exploration, and Lead Electrical Engineer at Spaceflight Industries, where Josh developed standard workflows and mentored junior engineers. Josh's extensive experience also includes positions at Lockheed Martin, where leadership in power electronics design contributed significantly to key program successes, and an engineering role at IBM. Josh holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
