Gilbert Barteau has a diverse work history, starting as President at Concorde Acceptance Corp in 1997. Gilbert then transitioned to Americash, serving as a Branch Manager from 2007 until 2017. In 2017, Barteau joined First Liberty Bank as the Executive Vice President, a position they currently hold.

Gilbert Barteau attended The University of Texas at Austin, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance. Following this, they enrolled in The University of Texas at Arlington's MBA Program from 1981 to 1982.
