Wei Li is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in operational risk management and internal controls. Currently serving as the Operational Risk Department Manager at First Hawaiian Bank since November 2021, Wei previously held the position of Vice President of Internal Control at Central Pacific Bank, where responsibilities included SOX compliance and vendor management. Prior experience includes Vice President of Tax Operations at Goldman Sachs, focusing on regulatory reporting and process improvement, and Associate Director of Financial Engineering at Gifford Fong Associates, specializing in valuation of financial instruments. Wei's career began at KPMG US as a Senior Audit Associate and later as a Senior Financial Analyst at The Walt Disney Company. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Financial Engineering from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Accounting from Winthrop University.
